Coaching works best when the participants (or at least the couple) are truly interested in understanding each other, are willing to look at alternatives and options, and strongly want to make their Blended Family work.

It can be used to address existing issues and, even more powerfully, to anticipate issues that have not yet arisen. The Coaching process can highlight potential areas of conflict before they arise and allow the developing of strategies to head off the conflict before it ever occurs.
Coaching is an ongoing process. The couple (or family) will meet with the Coach on a regular basis over a period of time, all of which are determined at the beginning of the process and can be altered at any time.
